Well, I may be one of the first posters to visit JOL with the new google chrome browser. The beta version became available this afternoon at http://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en-US/welcome.html
I will try to make this more of a user review than a technical review.
I am an avid Firefox user, and have even managed to figure ways around using IE on even those pages that require it by... [Read More]

Jimmy - I appreciate the rules & guidelines for this site - I find it to be much more intelligent and thought provoking than some of the others I've read. I stubbled upon this site because of the public defender's race, but I continually read the other threads and post. Thank you & the others for keeping this site out of the gutter.

Times Union - Hits "Newspaper" status
I am pretty blown away with the Times Union endorsing Manuel, Plotkin and Crescimbeni - to name a few radical changes in the paper. These are solid, progressive leaders that would have been branded liberal commies under the Cannon administration. TU'ers have gone against the grain and left the Republican Guard along the side of the road.
The days of "the benefits of global warming" and... [Read More]

I have some opinons about What Sucks in the city, state, country and world we live in.
So....Here goes
What Sucks;
a beautiful Chinese girl is singing during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Beautiful voice and sweet child. The whole thing was a scan/sham. It turns out the singer was Yang Peiyi, but the officials decided at the last minute her teeth were not as beautiful as maybe, Lin Miaoke so she was presented on television and... [Read More]
